The National SCR-4 is a Single Channel Receiver (SCR) that is crystal controlled. It can be used between 100 kcs and 40 mcs. Its intended purpose was for communications work. (Note: Not to be confused with the military "SCR" nomenclature, as these were advertised in National catalogs for public and commercial consumption.)
