The National Select-O-Ject (SOJ) is a signal booster (38db) that rejects adjacent signals (38db). It is housed in a bakelite cabinet painted National gray to match the NC-57, NC-173, HRO-50, etc. The SOJ can be used in conjunction with the National SM-57 on the NC-57 receiver by removing the plug of the SM-57 and wiring it into the plug of the SOJ. The SOJ gets its power from the receiver.
