  • Model: KL-9 - National Technical Schools,
  • Shape
  • Chassis only or for «building in»
  • Notes
  • The National Technical Schools (the name change from National Schools was first noticed in US copyright info in 1959) produced kits to go along with their correspondence school lessons. The lessons related to kits were marked KL-1 to KL-9.  This radio was marked as the KL-9 (see front panel) which also was the label on the final lesson.  The chassis itself is either identical or similar to the earlier model SRW, but the faux-wood-finish metal cabinet is very different and modernized.
