Der Mittelwellen-Rundfunksender ND 50 enthält 24 transistorisierte Einzelmodule mit je 2 kW Ausgangsleistung.
Zwei dieser Sender mit einer Ausgangsleistung von je 50 kW wurden beim Bayerischen Rundfunk von 1994 bis 2015 auf der Frequenz 801 kHz betrieben.
Weitere Informationen im Museumsfinder und im Rundfunkmuseum Cham, wo Teile der Sendeanlage nach Außerbetriebnahme aufgebaut und wieder in Betrieb gesetzt wurden.
