Public Address Amplifier for Multiple low power 100V line speakers (Factory, Shop, School, Church etc).
Some may be fitted with replacements EF86 (=CV2901), ECC83 (=12AX7) and 6BW6 (CV4043).
Despite the large size the "600W" is just a type designation, though the transformers are rated for continuous use and of a generous size. Confusingly the 602W (50W) and 603W (100W) professional PA amps released in 1958, two years before the low power 600W.
Small chassis cooled Bridge Metal Rectifier, but option for a Vibrator pack for vehicle use.
