National Model R-230J
A ten transistor, one diode, two band portable radio with newly designed flash-tuning indicator. Radio has chromed front and is house in leather carrying case.
Features: the flash-tuning indicator, located at the front upper left-hand corner of the set, facilitates perfect tuning, as this light flashes on brightly at the peak of the signal.
Also features low and high tone control switch and jacks for earphone and external antenna. Besides the built-in antenna, a telescopic whip antenna is also incorporated. The 3 x UM2D National batteries are housed in the back of the radio and are easily accessible.
Frequency range: MW 525 - 1605 kC/s (kHz); SW 5.9 - 18 MC/s (MHz) Maximum output 350 mW. Speaker 4" x 2½" PM dynamic. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
