National T-65Y Portable Radio
Three-band eight transistor transistor, two diode portable radio with built-in dial light. Batteries: four x UM2 1.5V cells and one UM3 (penlight) cell for dial light. Built-in Ferrite rod antenna and telescopic whip antenna.
Frequency range: BC, 540-1600 kC/s (kHz); SW1, 2.5-6.2 MC/s (MHz); SW2, 7-18 MC/s (MHz).
Accessories: heavy leather case with carrying straps, earphone and wire aerial. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
This model sold in Australia during 1961 & 1962 for £52/10/-. Price includes batteries.
