National Model RJ-15 Transceiver
Lightweight transceiver having 12 transistors; separate battery case which is carried over the shoulder or hung from belt.
Features: frequency 27.240 MC/s (MHZ). Outputs, transmitter 500 mW; receiver, 200 mW undistorted, 300 mW maximum. Speaker 2¼".
Operates from nine National Type UM-1 cells, or equivalent.
Operating ranges are about one mile in city, about four miles in suburbs, about 40 - 50 miles over water. Telescopic whip aerial is about 5.8 ft long. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
Battery case dimensions: 7¾" high x 4-9/32" wide x 1¼" deep.
