National Model RQ-503S
Two-speed, twin-track AC-operated six transistor tape recorder. Features special "error guard" switch which ensures no errors in recording. Pause lever and index counter, Speeds, 3¾ and 1⅞ ips. Power consumption of approximately 40W with an output of 1.5W. Sound monitor system enables monitoring through inbuilt speaker while recording, thus enabling use as a public address system. Neon lamp for recording level.
Specifications: frequency response 100-7000 c/s (Hz) at 3¾ ips and 100-4000 c/s (Hz) at 1⅞ ips. Recording system AC bias 33 kC/s (kHz); 6" x 3" dynamic speaker. Accessories: recording tape 5", dynamic microphone and radio cord. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
