- Ultraformer type "A" and "B". Used as RF transformers in the Ultradyne (L1) superhet, along with other later models of Ultradyne radios. The type "A" transformer has less coupling compared to the type "B" transformer, with the type "A" having about a 0.25 inch space between the primary and secondary windings. The type "B" transformer has no space between the primary and secondary coils. The primary inductance for both types is about 1.6mH with a resistance of about 7.2 ohms. The secondary inductance for both types is about 6.1mH with a resistance of about 16 ohms.
