- Notes
-
The cathedral cabinet for model 20 was updated in early 1931 with a maple overlay on the front of the arch and ribbed columns supporting the arch.
Model 20 was also available in a small console cabinet.
The "-B" (for "Baby Grand") suffix for cathedrals was not used by Philco until later models, although some collectors may call this model "20B".
For the model 20 series, Philco used the term "Baby Grand" for both the cathedral and console versions, unlike later models where "Baby Grand" was used exclusively for cathedrals.
The "DeLuxe" name may not have been used by Philco, but is often used by collectors today to dinstinguish the late model 20 cathedral from the earlier version with a simple flat front on the cabinet.Stein "Cathedral & Tombstone Radios" lists 6 tubes.
