The Philco model 37-650 series uses an eight tube three band chassis with shadow meter (tuning aid). There are three models in the series with different cabinet styles.
Model 37-650B is a tombstone with a slightly rounded top and rounded upper corners. Model 37-650X is a floor-type console. Model 37-650PX is a radio-phonograph with a single-play 78 RPM phonograph under the top lid. The Philco model 2650X is similar to this model but with long-wave tuning range.
