Model 38-2620 is referred to as simply model "2620" in some references although it should not be confused with the other earlier model 2620. The use of -E suffix tubes (special ruggedized versions of common tubes) and the inclusion of longwave suggest that this was an export model. Philco literature suggests that this model was offered with multiple line voltages and frequencies. Cabinet is similar to model 38-620.
