- The Philco model 38-2630 series uses a 6-tube 3-band chassis related to that of models 37-630 and 38-630, but with different band coverage (with LW included for the export market).
There are two models in the series with different cabinet styles: Model 38-2630K (1937) is a console with a vertical control panel flush with the front of the cabinet. Model 38-2630XF (1938) has a console cabinet of a different design, with an inclined control panel.
