  • The Philco 38-60 series uses a 5-tube 2-band chassis. There are versions for 115 VAC 50-60 Hz, 115 VAC 25-40 Hz, and 115/220 VAC 50-60 Hz.

    There are three individual models in the series with different cabinet styles. Model 38-60B (1937-38) is a tombstone. Model 38-60F (1937) is a console with a vertical control panel. Model 38-60XF (1938) is another console design with a sloping control panel.
