- Ramirez lists this model as 38-62C in his 1993 edition, but corrects this to the much more likely 38-62T on his website as of 2009. The -C suffix is normally for compact table radios, while this model is a larger table set normally indicated by a -T suffix.
Philco service literature indicates that the 38-62 chassis is identical to the 37-62 chassis. The cabinet is also identical to the late version of 37-62T, so we may conclude that model 38-62T is identical in all respects to the late version of model 37-62T.
There is also a console model 38-62F (early and late versions).
