- Notes
- Model 43 was Philco's first integrated multiband radio. There were six versions, depending on cabinet style.
Model 43B was a cathedral (1932-33) with a code 121 chassis. There were two 43H highboys, an early version (1932-33) which had six narrow vertical bars through the speaker grill, and a late version (1933) with a shield-shaped speaker grill; both had a code 121 chassis.
There were three versions of the 43X floor-tye console. The early version (1932) had an arched control panel and a large open inclined sounding board with dual speakers and used the code 221 chassis. The middle version (1932-33) had a rectangular control panel and four columns to the sides of the sounding board; it had dual speakers with the code 221 chassis. The late version (1933) had a rectangular control pattern and a large open inclined sounding board; it had a single speaker and used the code 121 chassis.
