- The Canadian Philco 39-319 exists similarly in the USA as 39-19 (like 39-19F, not 39-319F and PA, PCS, PF, PT and T, also code 121-122). The Canadian models 39-317 and 39-319 share the same chassis/schematic. The field coil of the loudspeaker is 1700 ohms. With only 5 tuned circuits it is a cheap superhet. The Canadian schematic shows only a model 39-319 but there are different suffixes for certain cabinets like AF or A etc. It seems that the Canadian model(s) have an IF of 460 kc and the USA models of 470 kc.
