The Philco Model G-1606S is an AC operated 4 Tube Phono Amplifier and a 4 Speed Record Changer. Uses Record Changer M-41 with speeds of 16-2/3, 33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM. This model has Qty(1) 6" PM woofer and Qty(1) type "S" electrostatic speaker. Cabinet is Blonde or Mahogany. The G-1606S is similar to the Philco model G-1606 except the function switch has a stereo position and the M-41 record changer has a stereo cartridge. Adding the separate Philco model SA-1000 (Slave amplifier and speakers) completed other stereo channel.
