Philips Hi-Z Model 204
An entirely new experience in music - with purity of tone never before possible! Wonderful Philips Hi-Z circuitry (no output transformer is used) and exclusive Philips high impedance speakers reduce distortion to below 1% - less than the human ear can detect! Two special Hi-Z speakers, including one twin-cone mounted in sealed enclosure, cover widest frequency range (20 - 25,000 cycles per second). Exclusive push-button controls operate radio, gramo. and "off" switches; also bass, orchestra and speech tone-pre-selection system. Two manual tone-controls provide treble boost and cut, for delicate shading of high and low notes. Philips automatic push-button, four speed, three-way record changer ensures perfect record reproduction, free from "wow" or "flutter". Ample reserve from eight valves, including magic-eye tuning indicator for easy, accurate station selection. Built-in aerial. Solid-core cabinet with large accoustic baffle hand polished in rose-mahogany or maple, all with genuine sycamore interior. Generous record storage. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
