- Notes
-
Model Philips 411A was an export radio with destination the former Dutch East Indies. Shortly after the beginning of WW II Philips was not allowed to export to countries which were regarded as unfriendly to the Germans, so the manufacture of this model was outsourced to another, yet unknown, country. For this purpose Philips used its manufacturing facilities in the USA (for models 513AN, 518AN and 614VN) and in Australia (for model 431AS). However, there is no evidence that model 411A was also manufactured in one of these two countries. So for the time being model 411A is assigned to Philips NL.
Model 411A was available in two different versions, with a slightly different exterior.
The wave range of Philips model 411A is 25 - 230 m.
