  • The Philips GM2887 test pattern generator was available in 4 versions:

    • GM2887/A, 40 ... 80 MHz, negative modulation, FM sound
    • GM2887/B, 40 ... 80 MHz, positive modulation, AM sound
    • GM2887/C, 170 ... 220 MHz, negative modulation, FM sound
    • GM2887/D, 170 ... 220 MHz, positive modulation, AM sound

    Each version could be ordered for 405, 441, 625 or 819 lines.

    Sound modulation: 200 - 400 Hz, 50% in AM, ca. 50 kHz in FM
    RF output: 72 Ω, 100 - 200 mV, 2 - 4 mV
    Video output: 120 Ω, 1.4 V

    Uses 10 tubes ECL80.
