Philips PA1 "Automate"
Portable B/C radio available with optional cradle kit for installing under dash in any vehicle. Chromium metal front with textured back and sides which are resistant to rubbing and scratches.
Features: chromium-plated telescopic aerial extends to over 20"; socket for car radio aerial; telescopic aerial is automatically disconnected when gutter-grip aerial is connected. Interchangeable State scales. Speaker: 4" permagnetic with socket for extension or "in-dash" speaker. Operates from one Eveready Type 2761 battery.
Cradle kit (optional extra): finished in hammertone grey, lined with felt. Gutter-grip aerial and lead lead-in completes kit. Special locking device incorporated on right-hand side of cradle for "thiefproofing". (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
Colours: storm grey and maroon.
