    An eight transistor portable radio (country performer) with 5" x 3" speaker.

    Black leather case with shoulder strap. Attractive styling. Operates from battery Type (Eveready) 2364. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)

    Chrome front grille, Australian scale, sold in cardboard box with black leather carrying case and accessories. Converts to mains operation using Philips Power Pack.

    The model is virtually identical to Cosmopolitan 8 PP3/01 from 1966. It was assigned a new model designation in 1969. The only major difference from the previous version is the silicon transistor types changed from a TO-18 to a X09 Lockfit package.
