  • A hi-fi stereo compact disc player with remote control (CU-PD038). Anti-resonance and vibration design with a honeycomb chassis, disc drive with low centre of gravity and large feet. Direct linear conversion with an 18-bit D/A converter (PCM1700P-L) with digital bias and an 8-way 20-bit digital oversampling filter. Laser mechanism PEA1030. With RCA phono Line Output sockets, a terminal for CD-Deck Synchro, a jack for headphones with volume control, on US and Canadian models Control input/output terminals and on UK and continental Europe models a terminal for Optical Digital Output.
