  • Mike Radio "1460 KC";

    This collectable radio was made/sold by Universal Publicizers Inc. located at 936 Michigan Ave Chicago IL. It was preset to one frequency only within the broadcast band. It was sold to the thousands of radio stations thruout the USA. Each station had their call letters on the case (they paid NR costs for special case lettering & special info which appeared on the case).The speaker is mounted downward in the base. These sets were "hand outs" by the station's sales departments to advertisers for the particular radio station.
