  • Notes
  • General Description (from page 97 Vol 1 "Radio & TV Servicing 1951 Edition"):
    Five-valve, eight-waveband superheterodyne receiver. Model 19RG has Garrard Auto Record Changer with high-fidelity miniature pick-up. Model P35RG has three-speed Garrard Auto Changer (saphire stylus). Released: 19D in 1948; Model T19D and 19RG in 1949; Model P35 and P35RG in 1950. Wavebands: 16 m, 19 m, 25 m, 31 m and 49 m SW, MSW (1.5-4 mc), MW and LW.

    Model 19D has an extra 13 m band (21.3 - 22 mc) and the MSW covers the 49 m band (3 - 8 MHz) instead of 1.5 - 4 MHz, thus has no separate 49m band.

The P35 is a slightly different style case to T19D and 19D (T = Trawler)

Error in the alignment procedure on page 477 of R&TVS-book 1 (Pre 1953). The original text reads as follows "Apply Signal as Below (1) 645 kc/s. between chassis and control grid of V1 via 0.1 uF capacitor. Grid lead to remain connected to V1. (2) 465 kc/s. between aerial and chassis via standard dummy aerial." See the thread on model P35 about the procedure.
