    The front has a removable wooden cover that has a chart on the inside showing frequencies, transmissions times and locations of popular SW stations.

    By this time Ekco is part of Pye so see similar or near identical models all using Metal Rectifier. The older Rimlock versions use a UY41 instead.

    There are probably other similar models with parallel heaters and isolated/earthed chassis.

    There are many Pye models from 1946 to early 1960s with 3 to 9 Bandspread Shortwave.
