Pye TM7 "Ranchero" Transistor Mantel Model
Pye cordless mantel radio with six transistors, plus one germanium diode, using printed circuit, housed in high impact polyester cabinet in colours red, white, olive green, charcoal, whitestone shadowbox trim.
Features: Inbuilt ferrite rod aerial, tuning range 1650-535 kHz, volume on/off controls, 4" Magnavox speaker. Operates from four 1.5V Eveready D50 leakproof batteries.
There is a single diode which operates both as the detector and the AGC feed.
