A battery powered portable transceiver supplied with a microphone and leather carrying case with shoulder strap, which operates in the VHF band 25 - 174 MHz. Torch batteries are held in a supplied cassette, a rechargeable nickel/cadmium battery cassette and charger type BC1 are an optional extra. With transmitter power of 1 watt (or 0.5 watt) and a high performance receiver with built-in loudspeaker. With built in telescopic aerial and a 50 ohm coaxial socket for external antenna.
