Pye CW17;
17" 43 cm 405 lines b/w TV with GB standard VHF band I/III tuner, release date March 1956, some tubes equipped more than once, 79 gns.
CW17, CW17F, CS17 & CS17F are contemporary-styled table models - the CW17 has a cabinet made of French walnut, while that of the CS17 is made of Japanese sen; the CW17F and CS17F are full fringe area versions specially adapted to difficult receiving locations. Note that all four of the preceding models were available with an optional stand (contrary to what is stated on various websites).
CTM17T & CTM17F are Continental-styled table models, CW17C, CW17CF, CS17C and CS17CF are console models, while 17TCDL is a console model with doors.
