  • An unusual feature perhaps is that the radio employs three rheostats, one to control the filament voltages of the two RF valves, another for the detector valve, and a third for the two AF valves. Another oddity is the mechanical coupling mechanism for the three gang tuning capacitor. Additionally, the two small knobs on either side of the main tuning knob are for fine tuning two of the gangs using two small variable capacitors housed in the base of the main tning capacitor.
