    Amplifies the RF output from TR967/1 1 W or the TR967/3 3 W to 25 W.

    The R.F. output from the TA970 may be fed to a whip antenna via the MA972 Antenna Matching Unit.

    An internal isolating converter in the TA970 provides a 12V D.C. supply to the TRA967/1 or TRA967/3 in order to enable installation in vehicles with either negatively or positively earthed systems.
