  • Notes
  • Radio Craftsmen model RC201 is a 19” b/w TV with US standard VHF tuner channels 2 thru 13. Equipped with a VHF tuner and picture tube 194AP4A.
The Radio Craftsmen model RC201 is mentioned by SAMS Photofact but we have not many details. It is a high quality chrome plated chassis with selectable picture tube to be put in custom cabinets. Options were 16" or 19" round and 21" rectangular. With additional cost of 43 $ at least in 1952 one could obtain a 24" picture tube (24AP4). The model allows a combination of detent and variable tuning which allows to tune the FM band. A magic Eye is employed for tuning. The tube line-up is the same as the chassis RC200. The set is for AC operation and consumes 225 Watts.
