The last version was 1956 and John Moyle has described the 1957 version in the April 1957 Radio TV & Hobbies magazine.
Once again this model is designed for simplicity, small size and as few components as possible. This version utilises an aluminium chassis fitted to a wooden case and was the smallest mantel set to date. The circuit uses a loop stick antenna, miniature IF cans and a 4 inch speaker.
