  • Notes
  • The RCA LOUDSPEAKER 106 is an electro-dynamic 8" speaker mounted into a cabinet. An output transformer is also mounted on the speaker, which reduces the high input impedance down to a lower impedance needed to drive the speaker.

The LOUDSPEAKER 106 also has a AC model, which is similar to the DC model except has a lower field coil resistance and also has a power supply used to provide power to the speaker field coil.

The schematic does not show this DC version of the model but instead, just shows the AC version. Note that the schematic shows both the tubeless type LOUDSPEAKER 106 and also the Speaker/amplifier combination LOUDSPEAKER 105.  These are two distinct loudspeaker models.
