  • Cabinet made of "non-breakable IMPAC" plastic.  Station dial and pointer knob encased in transparent plastic window.  Pointer turned by gears from tuner dial (vernier tuning).  US civil defense marks on station dial.  Used the 4V RCA VS149 mercury battery.

    Note that the RC-1199D chassis PCB is marked 962537-1 (PCB bottom view, near earphone jack).

    The "G" version indicates the Gift pack version consisting of a leather carrying case, battery, earphone, and radio in a gift box.

    The radios in the RCA Victor 3-RH-3x series differ only by the colors of their cabinets:
