- Notes
-
The RCA BX57 is a AC/DC/battery operated 4 tube BC band receiver. Uses Selenium rectifier when powered from the 115V line. Cabinet color is Maroon.
The BC band frequency range is 540 to 1600kHz.
This early production version uses chassis RC-1088A, which uses a standard tension spring for the dial cord. The late production version uses chassis RC-1088C, which uses a semicircular dial cord tension spring and slightly different speaker.
The Riders reference list only the early production RC-1088A chassis, but since the chassis differences are mechanical, the schematics and alignment procedure may be used for this late production model also.
