The MI-12700 and MI-12700-A Disc Recording instruments consist of a microphone, amplifier, edge-driven 16-inch turntable, recording head with feed mechanism, playback pickup, speaker and V.I. meter, rogether with all necessary switches and controls, all mounted in a cabinet fitted with casters.
The only difference in these instruments is that the MI-12700 cutter head feeds from the outside in while the MI-12700-A cutter head feeds from the inside out.
