Transmitter: 50W quenched spark set powered by a 10V storage battery. Wave bands are fixed at 150, 180, 210, 240, 270 and 300 meters. (approximately 2MHz, 1.67MHz, 1.43MHz, 1.25MHz, 1.11MHz and 1MHz)
Receiver: Uses a crystal detector (galena) and can tune from 100 to 550 meters.(approximately 545KHz to 3MHz)
Case is painted wood with metal reinforcing pieces and a canvas cover for the front control panel. This is a portable set designed for communicating between headquarters which are usually no more than 5 miles apart.
