- The RCA 2X61 is an AC/DC operated 6 tube AM receiver. AM Band Tuning Range: 540 - 1600kHz. Cabinet color is Maroon. Uses Qty(1) PM 4" speaker. Has built-in loop antenna. Uses Qty(2) #1490 bayonet dial lamps wired in series. Dial scale is on the top. Cabinet material in Bunis and also in RCA Redbook (1952) state material is plastic, but owners of these radios claim it is bakelite.
