The RCA SHC-4 "Mark IV" is an AC operated 14 Tube FM-AM Receiver with 4 Speed Automatic Record Changer. Has Qty(2) PM 3.5" tweeter speakers and Qty(2) PM 12" woofer speakers. Uses record changer RP-205G-1 that has 16 2/3, 33 1/3, 45 and 78 r.p.m. speeds. Record capacity is fifteen 7" or twelve 10" or ten 12" records.Used ceramic pickup. Cabinet was available in Mahogany, Maple and Oak.
Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
BC Band.............540 - 1600kHz
FM Band.............88 - 108MHzHad provisions to add a separate set of external speakers (Labelled "Left channel" speakers). A switch on the back of the chassis connected the two output channels together when the external left channel speakers were not connected.
