Built in the USA around 1903. A balance joint supports the trumpet (in iron with an aluminium bell), connected directly to the Exhibition player.
The early version has a front-mount horn support, the later version has a rear-mount horn support.
Reiss lists this as manufactured from 1901-1905 (front-mount) and 1903-1905 (rear-mount) and cost $45 USD when first introduced. It is fairly common with an estimated value of $1,600 USD (2007).
