  • Notes
  • Designed to facilitate the rapid testing of video frequency networks and routine maintenance checking of television transmitter and terminal equipment, the Video Sweep Generator, Type WA-21A, in connection with a suitable detector and a general-purpose oscilloscope, permits continuous observation of the gain-versus-frequency characteristic of a circuit under test. It also provides sine-wave signals tunable from 100 kHz to 10 mHz for point-to-point or steady-state tests. The unit is capable of 100 kHz to 10 Mhz frequency output in either swept or continuous wave output from .0005 volts to one volt maximum rms, terminated into a 75 ohm load. Amplitude is flat within one db over the range with total distortion and spurious output less than 5% in either continuous or swept mode.
