- Designed by E. M. Sargent (see there), the Infradyne cirquit was a "superheterodyne" which featured an intermediate frequency (IF) of 3.2 or 3.5 Mhz instead of the more-or-less usual 50 Khz IF of the time. This to avoid royalties for the superheterodyne patents. This has been built by Remler Radio Manufacturing Co. which also made this full receiver. See also Chicago Salvage Stock Store catalogue, 1928
