  Der Zusatz "E" findet sich nur am Gerät und in den Service-Unterlagen. Prospekte und Grosshandelskataloge führen nur Donau.

  Die Saba-Herstellerprospekte und das Handbuch VDRG 1968/69 nennen für Donau E eine Ausgangsleistung von 4 Watt, das ist mit den Endstufentransistoren AC187/AC188 von der Belastbarkeit nicht möglich. Im Handbuch RFP 1968/69 ist dagegen 2W angegeben.

  Nachfolger im flacheren und längeren Gehäuse bei identischer Technik war Donau F.
