Similar to the ST300 battery version, mainly by subsitution of indirect filament (A.C.) valves (tubes). Requires Grid Bias battery. LT is 4V AC and multiple HT voltages from separate PSU.
As it is a kit any alternate equivalent valves (tubes) may be original. High impedance headphones or reed speaker, output is capacitor isolated so an LF choke is used.
The on/off switch on the ST300 battery is replaced by a Gramophone pickup jack.
Construction is Panel (Ebonite, Wearite etc) and Wood base, "Box" case optional.
