Scale with station names. Suggested design has no rear cover.
The text suggests an RF Pentode for V1. The main differences from earlier models is a different coil "pack" allowing one side of Reaction capacitor to "Earth" (usually connected between coil and Anode/Plate) and a tuning scale.
The special coil unit had to be purchased, or the complete kit could be bought.
