The Sears Silvertone 1801 (Early Version) is an AC/DC operated 5 tube BC and Police band receiver. Uses 155 ohm line cord (Curtain burner).
Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
BC Band.............545-1700kHz
Police Band........1.70-4.28MHzModel 1801 Late Version uses a 6D6 IF tube in place of the 78 IF tube.
Catalog States: Beautiful bird's eye maple veneer front panel with matched oriental wood veneer corners, remainder walnut finish. Its improved circuit and efficient use of New Super Silvertone tubes insures easy tuning and wide range, 550 to 70 meters. Operates almost anywhere, on 110 volts, 25, 30 or 60 cycles AC current or 110 volts DC. Complete with self-contained aerial and five Super Silvertone tubes.
