  • The Sears Silvertone 1970 is an AC operated 7 tube BC and SW band receiver.  Some models may have a tuning eye installed which was not in the original production release of this model. New IF transformers were available after the production of this model which improved the selectivity, with these transformers being made available for installation into this model.
